In 2006 my first child was born, a beautiful baby boy that didn't like to sleep! In 2008 just as my beautiful boy was finally learning to sleep my gorgeous daughter was born, thankfully she loved to sleep! My Flirty Bird journey also started 8 weeks after she was born so essentially I had three babies and was very time poor!

With two little ones running around, the days of blowdrying my hair and applying makeup were gone! Makeup was mostly nonexistent and the messy mum bun became a staple that I couldn't live without.

This is where my love for wire headbands became my passion. You can have a mum bun every day and simply add a wire headband and it looks like you have put in an effort.
